NYLEX STRIPDRAIN is a fully filtered, prefabricated, high efficiency, subsoil drainage system that prevents water infiltration into structures. It affords protection for roads, railways, building foundations and other structures, as well as providing rapid drainage of sports fields and stabilizing sloping ground.

STRIPDRAIN is comprised of a plastic core deep-formed to provide excellent drainage flow capacity, overwrapped with a geotextile filter fabric. It is a lightweight, flexible and easy to install product, requiring no on-site assembly of separate components.

Because STRIPDRAIN is a fully filtered system, the excavated material can be used as backfill in most application providing that the material is sandy silt or sandy gravel. Apart from that, the unique geometry of STRIPDRAIN enables the use of narrow cable trenchers that provide further savings in equipment and trench costs.

STRIPDRAIN has a standard thickness of 40mm and with a variety of depths ranging from 100mm up to 500mm depending on the discharge capacity required. The geotextile filter fabric is wrapped around the entire core and bonded with adhesive. STRIPDRAIN comes in a 50m coil.
